in hardchrome replacement technology using one of our many coating options of chromium carbide and tungsten carbide Superior Surfacing Solutions™. The many improved features of these coatings include :

• Improved hardness and therefore increase in service life of the components. Avweld’s coatings
  often achieve increases in service life of 3-4 times over conventional hardchrome deposits
• Improved coating density (effectively pore-free coatings) offering significantly improved
  corrosion resistance and the ability to produce the highest possible surface finishes.
• Avweld can produce coatings which are designated as “Optical Mirror Finish” – defined
  as a measured surface finish of < 0.5 Micro Inch Ra
• Mechanically superior coating characteristics offering significantly tougher, better bonded,
  thicker coatings which are better able to withstand mechanical impact and wear compared
